How your Secret Santa works

You organize the group. Everyone else just needs their personal link.

Invite your group

Name your group, agree on a budget per person and set your gift exchange date. Share an invitation or add people yourself.

Review and draw names

Add optional exclusions, such as partners. Once at least three people are in and the details are right, draw the names.

Share wishes, give a little joy

Everyone opens their private page, collects wishes and sees only their own recipient after the draw. Keep the surprise until your gift exchange.

Questions about online Secret Santa

Is Secret Santa free?

Yes. Creating a group is free. Organizers need an email address; participants do not need accounts.

Does everyone need an email address?

No. Email is optional for participants. Without email, their private access link is shown directly or shared by the organizer.

How many people do we need?

At least three. Each person gets exactly one other recipient. Your exclusions must still allow a complete assignment.

How private are assignments?

Organizers can choose to reveal all assignments after a warning. Otherwise, participants see only their own recipient. Each participant link opens that person's private page. Anyone holding the link can view the assignment, so send it only to the right person.

Can I change people or draw again afterwards?

You can change participants and exclusions before the draw. After drawing, they are locked. Drawing again and handling dropouts are not available yet.

Is the budget enforced automatically?

The budget is your shared agreement. Catalog ideas are filtered by matching offers; manual wishes can exceed it.
